Rimmel London's Volume Colourist Mascara - Extreme Black
Come to think of it I'm not sure why it hasn't been done sooner, putting a dye/tint into a mascara. We wear it everyday (give or take) so it seems only common sense to add that tinting element. I like it.

To elaborate, it does what it says on the tin. It does make you're eyelashes darker in two weeks, although I noticed it after just a couple of days. In my opinion this is a good holiday prep mascara but I don't think I'll stick to it as an everyday staple and here's why:
1. It gives me volume but not quite the lift I like. Perhaps it's a little heavy on the lashes but they don't maintain the lift from the initial application for very long. Especially as I tend to dry my fringe after I've applied my mascara (when it's dry of course) but the heat from the dryer makes them droop a little.
2. You can't cry whilst wearing it. Well you can but its not discrete. You don't get a river of black under your eyes but the dye does run down with tears so it's noticeable.
3. Morning pander eyes. After a day or two you wake up looking a little like you did a half job taking your make-up off the night before and it's not easily removed from your skin so it takes a bit of a rub which is less than ideal with the skin under your eyes.
Having said all that I like the brush, no clumping and the mascara hasn't dried up at all. I love the concept and think it's perfect for approaching a holiday or early bird gym goers but needs a little more tweaking.
