I'm sure I'm not the only one where I go on holiday with far too many outfits and end up wearing about 3, here are a few essentials that are so practical you just can't go on holiday without them!

First of all you've got your basic accessories, hat, sunnies and flip flops. Never underestimate a good sun hat! A large brim ensures you have plenty of face and shoulder coverage for when you're out and about and malleable enough so that you can hide or spy if necessary.
My choice of hat this holiday was from H&M the Straw Hat in Natural, £9.99. Bargain!
Flip flops, Havaianas! The best, always have been always will be. They never loose their bounce, last forever and literally have any colour or pattern you could wish for.
Sunnies, I have no idea where I bought my staple pair I've had them so long and they're invincible so I wish I could tell you but they're essential so find a neutral, staple pair or two that you can wear with literally everything.
A cotton/linen shirt is the ultimate cover up, just incase you over do it in the sun on your top half they're brilliant. Shoulder, neck and chest coverage which you can't get with many items of clothing (that you would want to wear in 20+ degrees), choose a light material in a light colour and you can't go wrong. Mine is the H&M Cotton Shirt in Pink/Narrow Striped for just £7.99.
The sarong, the most versatile item of beachwear ever. Use it as a scarf when travelling (as it's normally freezing on the plane), a dress/cover up too and from the beach and a pashmina/wrap for evenings with a sea breeze. Here are some examples of what I call sarong-ology. I bought this one in Primark for a teeny weeny £4 and they have many patterns and colours.
