I've been called many things in my career so far, some good and some not so good. In this article I am going to try and explain how to turn negative comments, feedback or opinions in to positive drive.

Before I go into it, in no way do I mean that you can succeed in what you do driven solely by negativity. In my opinion you need a great deal of passion, confidence and trust. But as the saying goes 'haters gonna hate' how can we turn negative criticism thrown at us into something we can use to drive us.
In yourself you should trust. It has taken me a while to get here but in all honesty one person you can absolutely never break trust with is yourself. If you trust yourself to deliver to the best of your abilities and push yourself as far as you can then that trust can never be broken. If you don't then that's something you should work on. Why don't you trust yourself? Where does that stem from?
Self confidence can be bulletproof if you let it and I feel is the most powerful weapon against doubt. This comes down to frame of mind, doubting yourself reflects lack of confidence and trust in yourself, it's a decision you make in the conscious part of your brain. Confidence is something to build over a long period of time, I found it by letting in all the positivity that came my way and coming to the realisation that with passion and hard work you just may get everything you ever wanted. Find the fine line between confident and unrealistic and you're golden.
I have had a fair few comments thrown at me in my career so far, my most recent one was something along the lines of 'unpleasing to look at' being one of the best. When I heard this it made me slightly speechless and quite frankly baffled because of all the things I think of myself I can honestly say this is not one of them. Nor do I think anyone should think that of themselves. That is my confidence shining through because upon hearing this there wasn't a second of consideration or doubt in my mind that this could be true, and I can't say that in past years that wouldn't of affected me but I am proud of myself to say that it didn't. I took that comment and let it hurdle me into pushing harder, believing in myself even more and it just made my fire burn brighter. To portray the moment quite perfectly (this is for people who have seen the Twilight Saga Movies), the moment Bella Swan opens her eyes for the first time as a vampire, that was it!
If you can build up these force fields I really believe the world is your oyster. Like with the three Deathly Hallows you become a master of death, with these three shields passion, confidence and trust I believe you can be the master of life.
P.S. Apologies for the Harry Potter quote, I'm a huge fan!
