Let's jump right in because these places are just too good to put off!

1. Gail's Artisan Bakery, London

Recently branched out, this beautiful bakery has not lost its individual charm. It's a perfectly idyllic 'village bakery' style place, each one with individual charm. Buns, pastries, loafs, everything. So their breakfast... The Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes and Cinnamon Buns are one thing but their maple bacon brioche is another! Custard soaked yet crispy brioche, topped with sweet bacon and more than enough drizzled maple with a pot on the side, you won't run out! Gail's also serves breakfast until 3pm everyday so it's perfect even for the laziest of mornings.

2. The Union Kitchen, Copenhagen

You know you're at a great place when there are at least 3 dishes that you must try. So I did actually order two dishes here! One was 'pudding' in my defence. I started with the Breakfast Burger, scrambled egg, bacon and melted cheese sandwiched between a brioche bun with the perfect amount of ketchup, it was perfection! 'Pudding' was the Brioche Toast with cinnamon sugar and raspberry jam, I didn't even get to the jam. All washed down with a cheeky Elderflower Breakfast Cocktail!

3. England England, Dresden

It's quintessentially British! This place, no word of a lie, looks like my Great Aunt Dylis's living room, I think they literally took the furniture from the old mining terraces. So it's cosy, yes, and it's just like going to Grandma's house for tea and cake! A full English fry up, cheese and ham toasties, pancakes or even scones, this place has it all. High tea for breakfast anyone?

4. NOP, Tallinn

NOP stands for neighbourhood organic place and is healthy, healthy, healthy! I must admit I am quite fussy in this area but I had the Gluten Free Walnut Bananabread which comes with Greek yogurt, pomegranate seeds and honey. An amazing brekky but I could honestly barely finish it, it was SO filling! Im heading back there this week and I'm looking forward to trying a few of their other dishes.

5. Home

Yours, mine, anybody's. Other than these four places the only other place I'd want to eat breakfast is home. A cuppa just how I like it, a full English with all the trimmings, and of course spaghetti hoops for me instead of baked beans (I don't like baked beans)!
